Hospitality & Tourism

Hawaii’s economy is extremely dependent on outside investments and tourism for survival. According to the Hawaii Tourism Authority, roughly $15.2 billion was spent in visitor expenditures in 2015. With so many jobs and people supported by the tourism industry, tourism must be carefully managed and nurtured so that visitors have a unique, enjoyable, and safe experience in Hawaii. Hawaii's people must better communicate with each other, share common goals, and commit to taking care of the state as a whole - for our image is branded as one.
